Urara Kubo

Trained in both Japan and France, Urara brings a refined international perspective and a deep commitment to the tradition of French classical ballet.

She began her ballet training at the Yuriko Kawaguchi Ballet School in Tokyo, where she studied for ten years before continuing her artistic development in Paris. Her training in France has included studies at the Goubé European Dance Center, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, the Académie Internationale de la Danse, and Studio Harmonic.

She subsequently completed her professional pedagogical training in classical dance, including the EAT (Examen d’Aptitude Technique) and theoretical units required for the French Diplôme d’État, before completing her final year of pedagogy at the Centre de Formation Danse Désoblique in Lyon.

In 2024, she was awarded the French Diplôme d’État de Professeur de Danse Classique, qualifying her as a state-certified classical ballet teacher in France.

Now teaching classical ballet in the Paris region, she brings to the studio a thoughtful combination of Japanese discipline, French ballet tradition, musicality, precision, and attentive pedagogy. Her teaching encourages dancers to develop not only stronger technique, but also greater artistry, confidence, and freedom of movement.

For our Paris Adult Ballet Intensive, she looks forward to welcoming dancers from around the world and sharing the detail, elegance, and joy of classical ballet in a supportive yet professionally inspired environment.
