Adult Ballet Levels – Summer Intensive

Two adult ballet levels are available:

Beginner+ to Improver

Intermediate to Advanced Pointe

Adult dancers do not need to audition to participate in the

regular Adult Ballet Intensive.

All adult ballet levels are welcome to apply.

Dancers who would like an additional artistic challenge may also request consideration for Solo/ Variations roles,

subject to repertoire, level, casting requirements, and availability.

Teen dancers interested in joining our Pre-Professional level

may apply with an audition.

Our intensive takes place in Paris, France (15th arrondissement) and brings adult dancers together from different backgrounds and levels to share one extraordinary experience.

Learn from professional ballet choreographers, current and former Paris Opera ballerinas, graduates of the Paris Opera Ballet School, and teachers experienced in the traditions and techniques of the classical French Ballet School.

This is an opportunity to experience ballet beyond the steps.

Discover the artistry, musicality, history, technique, and discipline behind classical ballet while learning from artists who have lived and worked within the French ballet tradition.

Up to 10 Days Immersed in Ballet

Our extended Summer Intensive offers up to 10 days of ballet training, coaching, rehearsal, and artistic exploration, including:

• Classical ballet technique

• Pointe

• Choreography

• Floor barre

• Progressive Ballet Technique

• Classical repertoire exploration

• Ballet music appreciation

• Ballet history

• Acting in a Ballet

• Soloist Variations

• Daily studio practice space

We intentionally focus on small classes of approximately 15–18 dancers maximum, allowing teachers to provide individual attention throughout ballet technique and choreography classes.

You are here to learn, improve, rehearse, and be part of the artistic process.

From the Ballet Studio to the Paris Stage

The intensive culminates in something many adult dancers have dreamed about:

After days of classes, coaching and rehearsals, dancers have the opportunity to bring their work from the studio onto the stage.

Our Stage performance takes place at the beautiful Grand Salon,

Fondation des États-Unis in the 14th arrondissement of Paris.

​

This is more than attending a ballet intensive.

It is the experience of working toward a production — learning choreography, rehearsing with other dancers, preparing your costume and performance, waiting backstage, hearing the music begin...

and finally stepping onto a Paris stage.

A production option with reduced repertoire participation is also available for dancers choosing a shorter intensive experience in the summer.
